sorry for the lack of updates, been really busy with other stuff the last weeks, but im back on track and here are some of today's /this weekend's sketches and paintings

sorry for the lack of updates the last couple of days, i've been busy doing other work!
Anyway i had some time over this weekend and tried out some new brushes and did some regular
face-sketching while watching TV with some friends, hope you like it!

animal

so i said i would devote this week to practise making animals. this is one realistic and one more "fantasy" based drawing... not to happy with the design on the saber tooth so ill probably make another one in the end of the week once i hopefully gotten more in to the whole animal thing!

values

did some values studies last night, simple black and white!
I will start doing small design/painting challenges for my self, and this week will be animals! probable starting with real life animals and then perhaps some sci-fi and fantasy later on this week!

been doing faces and human anatomy all week long now and feels like i'm getting slightly better, or
at least faster and more confident while doing them. If i get the time i will make some kind of military dude later today to round up the week!

whispers

got a sudden struck of inspiration earlier tonight, i'm not that big of a fan of art that is trying to be meaningful or send a message trough art, but anyway i was listening to the coldplay song "whispers" and the word whisper got stuck in my head, and this is the outcome

feels like i should practice making good looking hair and clothes, although i feel like i'm getting the hang on making faces and expressions...

Iw been without a computer for the last week, so i decided i´ll do some basic fundamental drawing and animal studies. I figured it would be fun to show you some of the results, note that the two paintings on the bottom is computer-made! I had some time left earlier today...

Anyway i will continue to do some fundamental practice for the rest of this week, and then maybe move on to environments next week!
